I just learned that there's at least a couple plural systems here on Dreamwidth who used the community-creation system for their personal systems and, uh...you know...that's not such a bad idea at that is it

A community is one way that systems handle it. Another is with filters. Some just use icons; you get 15 with a free account and more with paid.

There are also communities about plurality, where you could ask other folks which they prefer and why. You might like:
